A CAR collided with a lamppost on the A31 Ringwood Road near St Leonards Hospital.
The driver was taken to hospital but police say they are not believed to have sustained serious injuries after the incident yesterday (Monday, April 26).
A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "We were called at around 2pm on Monday to a report of a collision involving a car and a lamppost on the A31 near to the hospital.
"Officers attended with the ambulance service. Recovery was requested for the vehicle.
"The driver was taken to hospital for treatment. They are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries."
Fire crews from Ferndown and Ringwood were also at the scene along with the ambulance service.

A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to the A31 Ringwood Road, St Leonards and St Ives at 2.06pm after a car was in collision with a telegraph pole.
“Two fire crews attended, from Ferndown and Ringwood; however, nobody was trapped and we were only required to make the scene safe. Our stop came at 2.22pm.”
