A CAR was destroyed after a fire near the A354 at Coombe Bissett.
The incident was reported to Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) at 5.05pm last night (Wednesday, April 28).
A crew from Salisbury attended and found the vehicle "well alight" when firefighters arrived.
A spokesperson for the DWFRS SAID: "DW Fire Control received an emergency call requesting assistance to a car fire off the A354 south of Coombe Bissett on the Rockbourne Road. Salisbury were mobilised and the vehicle was well alight on arrival.
"The vehicle was completely destroyed by fire and the crew used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish."
