SOME of the cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates':

EDWARD ANDREW MILLICHAP, aged 40, of Endless Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive behaviour in Salisbury on June 20 last year. He was fined £40 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34.

DENNIS STANLEY RAWKINS, aged 89, of The Croft, Newton Tony, pleaded guilty to three driving offences. On April 6 last year Rawkins was driving a Ford Ka along London Road in Salisbury without the appropriate licence. On May 16 he drove a Ford Ka along The Croft in Newton Tony, with a different registration plate, without the appropriate licence or policy of insurance. The defendant was fined £250 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. He is disqualified from driving until a test of competence to drive has been passed.

RONNIE LESLEY TURNER, aged 64, of Fison Walk, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without the appropriate policy of insurance. The incident was recorded on November 1, 2019, when Turner was driving a Vauxhall Insignia along Castle Road, Salisbury. He was fined £230 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for four months.

THOMAS PHILPOTT, aged 31, of Silverwood Drive, Laverstock, pleaded guilty to driving while unfit to do so because of drugs. He indicated a plea of guilty to possessing cannabis. The offences took place on January 19 last year when Philpott was driving an Audi A3 in Winterslow. He was fined £215 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.

DANIEL FUTCHER, aged 24, of Milton Road, Amesbury, indicated a plea of guilty to trespassing and stealing. On June 3 last year Futcher entered In-Excess Garden Centre in Salisbury and stole a mixture of products, including a leaf blower, totalling £104. He pleaded guilty to failing to stop a Mini Cooper along Netherhampton Road the same day, when required to do so by a police constable. Futcher was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. The defendant was under a 28-day curfew from February 25, during which he could not leave his address between 12noon and 8pm every day.

CALLUM JOHN GREGORY, aged 22, of Lower Grove, Whitsbury, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On September13 last year Gregory was driving a Ford Fiesta along St Mark’s Roundabout in Salisbury, with 50 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £350 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for12 months.
