A MAN was knocked unconscious and required hospital treatment after being hit to the face after a football match.
The incident took place during a six-a-side game at Salisbury and South Wiltshire Sports Club on Wilton Road.
After the final whistle - at around 6pm - it is reported that there was an altercation during which the victim was hit to the face, knocking him unconscious and requiring hospital treatment.
Police want to speak to anyone at the match who witnessed the attack or may have video footage of what happened at the end of the match.
