TWO of the cases heard at Salisbury Magistrates' Court:

SCOTT MORGAN LLOYD, aged 29, of Hernog Close, Llandrindod Wells in Wales, pleaded guilty to being in charge of a vehicle while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. The incident was recorded on August 27 last year when Lloyd was responsible for a Ford Transit along Glendale Road in Durrington, with 67 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. He was fined £80 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 40 days.

CAMERON MACKAY, aged 33, of Rougemont Close, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting an NHS nurse by beating in Salisbury on January 22. As reported on our website, he had previously reported not guilty. Mackay was ordered to pay compensation of £150.

Heard at Swindon Magistrates' Court:

RYAN WILLIAM MILLS, aged 25, of Westcliffe Road, Bournemouth, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting a police officer by beating in Shrewton on August 22 last year. He was fined £366 and was ordered to pay compensation of £100, a victim surcharge of £37 and costs of £85.

JAMES PETER JOHN COUSINS, aged 27, of Gainsborough Close, Salisbury, was found guilty of driving without due care and attention, and without the appropriate licence. The incident took place on October 14, 2019, when Cousins was driving a Volkswagen Passat along Butts Road in Salisbury. Cousins was fined £660 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £66 and costs of £110. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for six months.

IAN REID GREER, aged 57, of Long Street, Marston, pleaded guilty to exceeding 30mph while driving a Land Rover Discovery along the A36 Amesbury Road, Shrewton, on September 4, 2019. He was fined £293 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

IOAN-FLORIN NEGRA, aged 32, of Victoria Road, Frome, was found guilty of exceeding 70mph while driving a BMW along the A303 in Amesbury on May 31 last year. He was fined £500 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £50 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

MAXIMILIAN SAMUEL STACY, aged 26, of Cholderton, Salisbury, was found guilty of driving a Ford Fiesta along Cholderton Road in Salisbury without the appropriate policy of insurance on October 13, 2019. He was fined £293 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £110. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
