A Salisbury man has been fined by the court after stealing a glass table and six chairs.

Jonathon Randall, 38, of The Valley, appeared before Salisbury magistrates at the end of last year charged with the theft of a glass table and six fabric covered chairs.

The items, worth £350, belonged to a woman.

They were stolen in Warminster on July 19 last year.

Randall pleaded guilty to the offence and was ordered to pay a £95 surchage and £85 in costs.

He was also handed a community order.
