A WOMAN has been banned from entering a Fordingbridge shop and the county of Hampshire after stealing more than £200 worth of items.
Laura Jane Francis, 43, of no fixed address, was given a community order with an exclusion requirement not to enter the shop in High Street and the county of Hampshire, which lasts for a period of six months.
She was ordered to pay compensation of £115 after admitting to stealing biscuits and alcohol worth £229.89 from The Gourmet Grocer in Fordingbridge on November 19, 2020.
She was sentenced at West Hampshire Magistrates’ Court in Southampton on April 8.
There was no order for costs made and a victim surcharge was not imposed to ensure the payment of the compensation took priority.
She was jointly charged with the offence with another person.
