SIGN up for Walk for Wards Wherever You Are to support The Stars Appeal.
The event takes place on Sunday, July 4.
Choose a distance
Participants are asked to walk 3km, 5km, 10km, or as far as they would like, at a location of their choice and to get sponsored to help raise funds for the charity’s projects that support patients and NHS staff across Salisbury District Hospital.
Play a vital role in funding Stars Appeal projects
Urology surgeon and Stars Appeal ambassador Melissa Davies, said: “Walk for Wards is our charity’s flagship event and after the success of last year’s Wherever You Are format we are again asking everyone to show their support for our hospital by organising their own sponsored walk. Funds raised by the walk will play a vital role in funding Stars Appeal projects that make such a difference to both our patients and our staff.”
The event is sponsored by Salisbury Reds and supported by Wilton Rotary Club and the Salisbury Journal.
Special prizes up for grabs
All participants will receive a special certificate marking how much they have raised and there are special prizes for those raising more than £100.
Follow government Covid guidelines
Participants are asked to follow any government guidelines that may be in place at the time of their walk.
