A DOOR-TO-DOOR transport service serving communities in the Fordingbridge area is back on the road.

Community First has resumed its Call and Go New Forest services across the District.

It provides transport for shopping and social visits for those who cannot use regular public transport.

Vehicles are wheelchair accessible.

Gavin Rowe, Transport Manager for Southern Services at Community First, said: “We are delighted to be able to welcome back our valued customers now that restrictions have started to lift.

“We are here to help anyone who needs accessible transport now that shops and services are re-opening.

“We will provide further service updates to our customers as and when restrictions lift.”

Services will run Monday to Friday for routes including the Fordingbridge area including Martin, Mockbegger, Ibsley and Sandleheath.

Covid safety measures in place include the wearing of face coverings and limiting passenger numbers to maintain social distancing.
