CHURCHES, cottages and historic buildings were just some of the pictures sent to the Journal for its ‘Architecture’ themed photography competition.

After going through around 100 images however, there can only be one winner.

Judged by the editorial team, the winner of this month’s camera club contest is Gabrielle Schnapka, for her image capturing the beauty of Water Lane in Salisbury.

Second place was awarded to Antony Topham for his picture inside the cathedral Cloisters, and Graham Davidson snapped up third place with an eerie shot of St Mary’s Church in Dinton.

The theme for June will be announced next week.
