A MAN in his 60s was spat at several times and verbally abused while in a Salisbury park.
Following the assault police are now appealing for witnesses.
The incident took place on Wednesday, May 19, at around 2.30pm in Churchill Gardens, where the 69-year-old was spat at and verbally abused by a stranger.
He also had a can of drink thrown at him.
