A RINGWOOD man has been banned from driving for 12 months over drink driving.

Robert James Seeds, of Kingsfield, was found guilty on May 26 of driving a motor vehicle when his alcohol level was above the limit.

The offence happened on March 6, 2020 on Parsonage Barn Lane in Ringwood.

The proportion of alcohol found was 58 microgrammes in 100 millilitres of breath, which exceeded the prescribed limit.

The 35-year-old was fined £400 by West Hampshire Magistrates Court and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £40 and court costs of £200 to the Crown Prosecution Service.

He was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 12 months.
