CASES heard by Salisbury Magistrates' Court:

THOMAS WILLIAM BROWN, aged 25, of Bulford Camp, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit and damaging railings belonging to Wiltshire Council. On December 13 last year Brown was driving a Citroen C1 along the junction of Marlborough Road and Hubert Hamilton Road with 74 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. This is also where the railings were accidentally damaged. Brown was fined £346 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 17 months and his driving record was endorsed with seven points.

DECLAN LLOYD CUMMINS, aged 19, of Glyndebourne Close, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally damaging the wing mirror of a BMW and a Renault Megane in Wilton on January 26 last year. The total cost of damages was between £300 and £630. Cummins was ordered to pay compensation of £530.

MUHANAD ABDULRAHEEM DAFAALAH, aged 18, of Exeter Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to intentionally using abusive, threatening or insulting behaviour towards another person in Salisbury on October 19 last year. Dafaalah was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and must carry out 50 hours of unpaid work.

BRADEN CHRISTOPHER LYNAM, aged 18, of Lanfranc Close, Old Sarum, indicated a plea of guilty to displaying or distributing a visual which was abusive, threatening or insulting in Salisbury on October 19 last year. The court found this offence to be racially aggravated. Lynam also indicated a plea of guilty to possessing 28g of cannabis. He was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and must carry out 60 hours of unpaid work.

JANE ELIZABETH BLAND, aged 49, of Pealsham Gardens, Fordingbridge, pleaded guilty to driving while exceeding the legal alcohol limit. On November 3 last year Bland was driving a Seat along the The Borough in Downton with 123 microgrammes of alcohol in every 100 millilitres of breath. Bland was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85. She was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 29 months and was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work.

ELLIOT MBUEZELO BADELA, aged 49, of Shaftesbury Road, Wilton, pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating in Bemerton Heath on October 14 last year. Badela was discharged conditionally for three years and was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £22 and costs of £85.
