A man has been banned from driving for 12 months after he was caught drink driving.
William Frederick Edward Peppiat, 20, was stopped by the police on the A30 near Stockbridge on May 21, a court heard.
Peppiat, of Mount Lane, Lockerley, was driving a 62-reg VW polo.
When tested his alcohol reading was 48 ug/l of breath when the legal limit is 35.
Magistrates in Basingstoke fined him £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
The 12-month ban will be reduced by three months if Peppiat passes an approved course by January 7 2022.
