These are the areas in Wiltshire where Covid cases have been on the rise.

Rising infections, driven by the spread of the Delta variant, previously known as the Indian variant, have been recorded across all parts of the UK.

In Wiltshire, the increase has not been as sharp as in other areas.

However, numbers have been climbing up steadily for the past few weeks.

In a bid to control the spread of the new strain, the Government has now pushed back stage 4 of its roadmap.

The relaxation of all lockdown rules is now scheduled for July 19 as opposed to June 21.

In the week to June 9, the latest weekly period available, 141 new cases were recorded in the Wiltshire Council area, 84 more than the previous week.

The rate of new cases is now 28.2 per 100,000.

The figures are available on a map on the Government coronavirus dashboard which breaks down infections into Middle Super Output Areas (MSOAs), small areas with an average population of around 7,200.

For each MSOA, the map shows the number of cases in the latest weekly period, any change compared to the week before and the rate of new cases.
