A CYCLIST was found lying in the road after appearing to have been hit by someone driving a car earlier this evening.

Police were called just after 6pm this evening to reports of a cyclist lying in Coronation Square, Salisbury.

Police said: "The cyclist appeared to have been in a collision with a car.

"He sustained minor injuries and the road was cleared soon afterwards.

"There were no arrests made at the scene."
