POLICE have released an image of a person they would like to speak to following an arson attempt at Salisbury's McDonald's earlier this month.

On June 1, at around 5.10pm, Wiltshire Police and Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue service were called to the fire in the Winchester Street restaurant, after reports of smoke in the three-storey premises.

A fire was located in a first-floor toilet, caused by toilet rolls being set alight.

The fire was halted and the road was reopened by 7.20pm.

Police officers would now like to speak to the person pictured below as they believe "they could help with the investigation".
