WORK will begin next week on building a skatepark at Old Sarum.
Laverstock and Ford Parish Council has announced that, following a period of consultation with members of the skatepark group who assisted with the design and after reviewing various contractors, it has appointed Gravity to construct the new skatepark.
Work will start from week commencing Monday, June 28, and the council say it should take approximately 6-8 weeks to complete.
The skatepark will be located on land owned by the Parish Council at the end of the swales and Gravity are currently finalising access arrangements across Persimmon land to the site.
