WITH flowers, animals and sunshine as the main contenders - the winners of the Journal’s latest camera club competition have been revealed.

Last month we asked camera clubbers to focus on the colour ‘Yellow’, to bring a summery and happy feel to both the group and our readers.

Judged by the editorial team, first place was awarded to Tracey Crowley for her picture of a duckling among yellow-centred flowers, due to the positioning, colour coordination and the warm feelings it brings.

Salisbury Journal:

Second place was secured by Claire Sheppard for her close-up action shot of a busy bee, for its level of quality and detail, emphasised by the blurry backdrop.

Salisbury Journal:

Charlene Thornborough received third place with her animal photography, capturing a paw-fect pose.

Salisbury Journal:

A theme for July will be announced next week.
