These nine drivers were fined in court for being on the road without third party insurance.

All of them live in and around Salisbury and were sentenced by magistrates in the past six months.

Driving without insurance is a serious offence which puts other road users at risk.

Bobby Joe Truckle

Bobby Joe Truckle, 29, of Tollgate Road, Salisbury was caught driving a Subaru Forester without insurance on Whistley Road, Potterne on December 22 last year.

He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34. His driving record was endorsed with eight points.

Dleir Mohamad Amin

Dleir Mohamad Amin, 43, of Endless Street, Salisbury was stopped on Oakwood Grove, Alderbury on July 27 last year.

He was driving a BMW 1 Series without insurance.

He was fined £326, ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and £85 in costs.

He was also disqualified from driving for 14 days.

Ian Norris

Ian Norris, 47, of Coronation Road, Durrington was caught driving a Mazda on the A43 at Towcester without insurance on August 23, 2019.

He was fined £384, ordered to pay a surcharge of £38 and £85 in costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Radu Mihai Martom

Radu Mihai Martom, 35, of Tollgate Road, Salisbury drove a Volkswagen Passat on Silver Street without insurance on March 20 last year.

He was fined £660, ordered to pay a surcharge of £66 and £85 in costs. His driving record was endorsed with seven points.

Rachel Nikkita Lewis

On January 17 last year, Rachel Nikkita Lewis, 31, of Pains Way, Amesbury drove a Peugeot 206 without insurance on Holders Road in Amesbury.

She was fined £392, ordered to pay a surcharge of £39 and £110 in costs. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

Maximilian Samuel Stacy

Maximilian Samuel Stacy, 26, of Cholderton, Salisbury pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Fiesta without insurance on Cholderton Road on October 13, 2019.

He was fined £239, ordered to pay a surcharge of £32 and £110 in costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Sean Maramo

Sean Maramo, 21, of Norfolk Road, Salisbury pleaded guilty to driving a Renault Clio without insurance on Dairy Meadow Lane on August 24 last year.

He was disqualified from driving for six months, fined £85 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and £90 in costs. His driving record was endorsed with eight points.

Diane Grace Parker

Diane Grace Parker, 44, of Philip Road, Durrington admitted driving a Ford Focus without insurance on London Road, Amesbury on March 8 last year.

She was fined £320. Her driving record was endorsed with eight points.

Octavian Sali

Octavian Sali, 25, of Fowlers Road, Salisbury was caught driving a Vauxhall Zafira without insurance on Hawthorn Close on October 8, 2019.

He was fined £660, ordered to pay a surcharge of £66 and £110 in costs. His driving record was endorsed with six points.
