A MAN is due to appear in court after a fatal crash in Sixpenny Handley.
The collision happened at around 6pm on Saturday, February 1 last year on the B3081 about 300m south of the Sixpenny Handley roundabout and involved a red VW Up BlueMotion, a black Audi A3 and a green Isuzu Pick-up.
The VW driver, a 37-year-old woman from Ringwood, was taken to Southampton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries but died on the morning of February 7, 2020.
The male passenger in the VW sustained serious injuries.
The occupants of the Audi, one adult and two children, had minor injuries and the male driver of the Isuzu also sustained minor injuries.
A 37-year-old man from the local area has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 8 for an offence of causing death by driving without due care or consideration while over specified controlled drug limit.
