CASES heard by Magistrates' courts in Salisbury and Swindon:

DAVID JEFFREY LANGLEY, aged 42, of Sandell Place, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood during an investigation into whether he had committed an offence, after he was suspected of driving a vehicle on December 11 last year in Melksham. Langley was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £95 and costs of £85 and he was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months. He must complete 120 hours of unpaid work and participate in activities and appointments as instructed by an officer.

PETREL MINU, aged 46, of Barnum Court, Swindon, pleaded guilty to driving a Vauxhall Vivaro along Ridgeway Road in Salisbury without due care and attention on March 21 last year. He was fined £150 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £85. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

JOSHUA PAUL HARDING, aged 26, based in Bulford Barracks, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and a Lance Corporal by beating in Bulford on January 3. Harding was fined £666 and was ordered to pay compensation of £200, a surcharge to fund victim services of £67 and costs of £85.

JODIE NICHOLSON, aged 24, of Cambrai Drive, Tidworth, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police constable on July 31 last year in Melksham. On the same day she failed to provide a specimen of breath during an investigation into whether she had committed an offence, after she was suspected of driving a vehicle. Nicholson was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £95, costs of £250 and compensation of £150. She was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 18 months and was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work.

SHANNON PAULA CULLETON, aged 19, of Folly View, Salisbury, indicated a plea of guilty to assaulting two police officers by beating in Chippenham on June 6 last year. She was ordered to pay compensation of £100, she must attend activities and appointments as instructed by an officer and must complete 60 hours of unpaid work.

GARETH JAMES CURNOCK, aged 25, of Coombe Bissett, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs. On July 26 last year Curnock was driving an Audi A6 along London Road in Salisbury with benzoylecgonine - cocaine breakdown product - in his blood. He was fined £154 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £34 and costs of £85. He was disqualified from holding a driving licence for 12 months.
