A MAN was taken to hospital after suffering a "medical episode" on the A303 yesterday.
At around 6.35pm, Wiltshire Police received a call after a car crashed into the central reservation on the A303 near Mere.
The driver, a man in his 60s, is believed to have suffered a "medical episode", and, although he wasn’t injured in the crash, he was taken to Taunton Hospital.
A Wiltshire Police spokesperson added: “Officers attended to manage the traffic, as the road had to be closed for a short time to allow the car to be recovered, but it was clear by 8.20pm.”
