As a result of 'clean water flooding', Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has announced that face-to-face medical surgical outpatient appointments being held at the hospital today, July 19, are to be rearranged.

It is hoped that all telephone appointments will go ahead as normal. The hospital booking teams are contacting patients impacted by this closure directly.

Urgent cases are being assessed and patients will be contacted.

The trust has asked patients expecting to attend a face-to-face appointment today at the Medical Surgical Outpatients building to check their appointment letter and phone the hospital before leaving home.

A spokesperson added: "We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience and worry caused by this event and are working as fast as possible to restore services."
