A fire crew was called to Montgomery Gardens last night after reports of a fire.

A group of young people were setting a fire in a play park in the residential area.

A Salisbury crew was mobilised at around 8.30pm.

On arrival, the fire was extinguished using a hose reel and the crew gave safety advice to the youths before returning to the station.
