Three people have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A36 near Warminster.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "We received a call to a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A36 near Warminster at approximately 8.15am this morning (July 25).
"The incident, which involves a red Mazda, a silver Mazda and a Volkswagen Transporter, has caused the road to be closed at the junction with the A350.
"We attended along with the fire service and the air ambulance.
"Three people, the drivers of both Mazdas and the passenger of the silver Mazda have been taken to hospital, with the driver of the red Mazda suffering potentially life-threatening injuries.
"The road is likely to be closed for several hours while our investigation continues."

Highways England is also assisting police.
They say the closures are "likely to be prolonged."
