Open football sessions every Tuesday at Five Rivers Leisure Centre
New club AFC Salisbury is now a year old and is looking to expand its squad by opening up its weekly sessions to interested players.
Who are the sessions for?
The club is inviting committed and experienced players in school years 11 to 13 next academic year to train with them. The team is ideally suited to footballers looking for a Sunday team.
When does the club train?
The club trains every Tuesday at 6.30pm to 8pm, Five Rivers Leisure Centre, Salisbury, SP1 3NR.
Another training session is available in Bulford on Tuesday 10 August, 6.30pm to 8pm, at the 3G pitch, Bulford, SP4 9AA.
Players are welcome to attend any session.
AFC Salisbury is offering….
- Sunday league matches in the Mid Wilts League.
- training in Salisbury city centre at Five Rivers Leisure Centre.
- 3G training in Bulford in the winter.
- access to a professional strength & conditioning coach.
Club Patron
AFC Salisbury Club Patron is Mikey Harris. Mikey has a UEFA Pro Licence and was England’s youngest full-time manager with Salisbury City FC in the National League. He has been youth coach at Portsmouth FC, Brighton & Hove Albion FC and a National Specialist Coach with the FA. He is now working with Southampton u18s.
Mikey says: “I am delighted to be AFC Salisbury patron. I’m proud to be associated and provide support to such a player centred club. The ownership the players have empowers them in a way that allows them to develop a wide range of skills on and off the pitch.”
What are the fees?
AFC Salisbury is totally open about fees. It costs £15 per month with an initial £15 registration fee. This includes kit! The club also has arrangements for anyone in financial difficulty.
