A 23-YEAR-OLD from Salisbury has been banned from driving for three years, after he was caught behind the wheel under the influence of cannabis.
This isn't the first time Danny-Lee Mugridge, of Partridge Way, has been caught drug driving, as he had previously caused a head-on collision with another vehicle after being involved with the class B drug.
Appearing at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 23, Mugridge pleaded guilty to a new drug driving offence.
The court heard that the defendant failed a roadside drugs wipe test when he was stopped along Castle Road in December last year.
He was then taken to custody, where a further blood test revealed he was over the accepted level of two micrograms of cannabis per litre of blood.
Mugridge was disqualified from driving for three years, fined £400 and ordered to pay a further £125 in surcharges and costs.
