The shop on Queen Street opened its doors to customers on July 17.

Faz McVey, Loake Salisbury store manager, said: “We’ve received overwhelmingly positive responses from everyone within Salisbury, and we’re delighted that everyone – from Loake fans to our shop neighbours and local businesses appear to be just as happy as we are, that we are here.

“We intend to become an established part of the Salisbury community and we are very lucky to be in such a wonderful city. A traditional English shoemaker, in a traditional English city.
