A FIRE broke out in the chimney of a property in Broad Chalke.
Fire crews from Salisbury and Cranbourne were called to the incident on Knighton Road at 6.15pm yesterday evening (Thursday July 29).
A fire was extinguished in the chimney flue and the incident was dealt with by around 7.55pm.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews from Salisbury and Cranbourne were called to a chimney fire on Knighton Road, Broad Chalke at 6.15pm yesterday evening.
"A woodburning stove was removed for access and the fire in the chimney flue was extinguished using an extension ladder, chimney kit and small tools. The stop came at 7.54pm."
