TWENTY six drivers were caught speeding in the New Forest on Friday (July 30).
A post on the Hampshire Roads Policing Unit's Twitter said the highest speeded recorded in a 40mph zone was 63mph.
The Tweet said:"On Friday, 26 people were caught speeding in the New Forest. The highest speed was 63mph in a 40 mph zone. In the image, taken at the time there were horses close to the road. The speed limit is 40mph to protect drivers, animals, cyclists and pedestrians. #RSU #SlowDownSaveLives."
