A CAR was left with "extensive damage" after a crash at the weekend.

The incident took place on the A338 between Tidworth and Collingbourne Ducis on Saturday (July 7) at around 3.20pm.

It comes just weeks after a seven-year-old girl died following a crash on the same road.

Police say a car, believed to be a black Ford Focus, hit another car travelling in the opposite direction while overtaking on a bend of the A338.

While the driver only suffered minor injuries and the three passengers were unhurt, the car suffered extensive damage to its right side.

The black car didn’t stop after the collision so police are looking for anyone who saw what happened or saw a black car heading towards Tidworth at around that time with damage to its right wing to get in touch.
