STUDENTS in Ringwood are celebrating after collecting their A-Level results today (August 10).

This year, following the cancellation of exams, grades have been awarded through a process of teacher assessed grades, against a national standard and approved and awarded by the exam boards.

Ringwood School said given the “extraordinary circumstances” surrounding the 2021 results it would not be publishing headline figures.

Many of its students will be heading off to university. And the school had more students than ever before with Oxbridge offers.

Head teacher Leanne Symonds said: “We are immensely proud of all the work and achievements of our students, especially after such a difficult and disrupted year.

"We credit their resilience in these difficult times and we thank our teachers who have worked tirelessly to ensure students are all able to progress onto higher education and study.

“We look forward to seeing what the Class of 2021 will achieve in the future.”
