FIREFIGHTERS were called out after a "large amount" of smoke was reported.
A crew from Verwood Fire Station attended Broadmead Road in Three Legged Cross just before 8.30pm yesterday (Saturday August 14).
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service says it tuned out to be a "controlled burn".
A Tweet from Dorest and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "@VerwoodFire attended the Three Legged Cross area after a caller reporting a large amount of black smoke in the area. This was found to be a controlled burn."
