A HORSE box was "well alight" when firefighters arrived at the scene.
Fire crews from Verwood and Ringwood were called to the incident just after 11pm on Sunday on Verwood Road, Three Legged Cross.
A spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival crews found one horse box well alight and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. No reports of persons or animals being injured in this incident."
The incident was dealt with by 11.20pm.
