A RINGWOOD man has been arrested after a quantity of Class A drugs were seized by police.
Ringwood Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a warrant at a property in Winston Way at 8am today (Thursday August 26) in relation to drug-related activity.
Officers searched the premises and found a quantity of Class A drugs, which were subsequently seized.
A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: "A 29-year-old man from Ringwood has been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and two counts of assaulting an emergency service worker.
"He remains in custody at this time."
"Information that we received from the community is vital and informs where we put our resources and take action against any illegal activity," the statement added.
"If you, or anyone you know, suspects that an address in your neighbourhood is being used for drug dealing, drug-related activity or associated crime, then please called us on 101.
"Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
