Camera club snappers have been posting some stunning images in line with last month’s theme – the best of summer.

Salisbury’s keen photographers have been submitting colourful snaps of the city and its surrounding areas during the summer months, including many scenes of the New Forest, wildlife areas and the August full moon.

Every month the Journal’s camera club is provided with a theme, and it is up to budding photographers to present that theme as much as possible through pictures.

For ‘Best of Summer’, first place was awarded to Suzi Elizabeth for creating a special image using the beach and shadows.

The theme for September is 'Back to work'.
