With Salisbury and the rest of the UK still basking in summer-like temperatures, Christmas is likely to be the last thing on people's mind.

But Salisbury City Council has kick-started the process to ensure our city looks and feels as festive as possible during the Christmas period.

The Salisbury Christmas Tree Trail is returning this year and Salisbury City Council are seeking tenders to design and install its decorations.

The trail will be open from Saturday November 20 until Sunday January 2.

The chosen business will have the opportunity to decide on its theme and will need to consider how this can be adopted throughout the city, for example in shop windows.

Last year the theme surrounding the 12 trees was “12 Days of Christmas”.
