A CAR "completely blocking" a pavement in Fordingbridge was found to have an MOT that expired more than two years ago.

Police received complaints from local residents about the pavement being obstructed and found the vehicle's MOT expired in March 2019.

A post on Ringwood Police Facebook said: "After complaints from local residents in Fordingbridge about pavement obstructions by parked vehicles, this car was found completely blocking the path and with an MOT which expired March 2019."

A £100 fine was issued.

The post added: "Please think about the access and safety of the disabled, elderly and those with young children when parking. Your convenience can seriously impact on the daily wellbeing of those who need our support the most.

"Imagine how hard this has made the journey for someone with a visual impairment."
