A PROPERTY near Salisbury is going under the hammer later this month.
The two-bedroom, link-detached bungalow at 7 Markan Road, Idmiston, is among 161 lots across southern England listed by regional land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
Kevin Gilbert, an auctioneer with Clive Emson, said: “The property is currently let at £14,291.68 per annum and is let under an occupancy agreement which commenced in December 1993.
“The agreement allows for annual increases in line with the Retail Prices Index plus two per cent.
“We anticipate keen interest from investors looking to add to their portfolio.”
“National data for residential landlords shows that the average gross yield in the first seven months of this year in the South West was 5.8 per cent and compares favourably with the current UK base interest rate of just above zero and the eroding effects of inflation.”
“There won’t be internal viewings and interested applicants are requested not to contact the occupants direct,” Kevin added.
The auction takes place on Wednesday September 22.
