A MAN was fined £1,000 following a string of driving offences in Amesbury.
Lee Alexander Coombes, aged 30, of Queensberry Road, Amesbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Volkswagen Polo with delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol - the main psychoactive ingredient of cannabis - in his blood.
This incident was recorded along Antrobus Road in Amesbury on September 25 last year.
Heard by Swindon Magistrates' Court, he was also driving without the appropriate licence or insurance.
Coombes was fined a total of £1,000 and was ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £100 and costs of £85.
He was disqualified from driving for 12 months.
