A MASSEUR who "abused the trust" of his victims has been jailed for more than three years.

Callum Urquhart, of Keptie Road, Arbroath, was found guilty of a number of sexual assaults at a court hearing on Monday (September 13).

The 38-year-old, who previously lived in Bristol and moved back to his home in Scotland following his arrest, would either visit clients in their homes or invite them to his house.

He advertised mainly in the Bristol area, but also visited clients in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

When they were alone and on the massage table, he assaulted his victims by touching intimate parts of their bodies under their clothes as well as removing the towel and exposing them.

Urquhart also massaged their arms, moving their hands to touch him underneath his shorts.

He was jailed for three years for four counts of sexual assault and a further six months for another two cases of sexual assault at the hearing at Winchester Crown Court.

DC Simon Rogers, of Wiltshire Police, said: "I would like to thank the victims and witnesses for their bravery in coming forward and reporting these crimes.

“Urquhart used his position to abuse the trust of these women and enter their homes whilst they were alone and vulnerable.

“Each victim should have felt safe enough to receive a massage but he took advantage of this and went on to sexually assault them.

“Urquhart had no formal qualifications but advertised under the company name of ‘Simple massage Bristol’.

“Although he advertised mainly in the Bristol area, he also visited clients in Gloucestershire and Wiltshire and that’s how he came to our attention.

“Crimes of this nature are taken extremely seriously by Wiltshire Police so I’d urge anyone to come to us if they are a victim of a sexual assault”
