YOUTHS have been causing a stir by bursting into a hall shouting and swearing during band practices.

Verwood Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) says it has been receiving calls about ongoing antisocial at Verwood Band Hall.

There was also an incident where damage was caused to a fence and two large windows were broken on Tuesday (September 14).

A post on the East Dorset Police Facebook page said: "Verwood NPT have been receiving calls of ongoing antisocial behaviour at Verwood Band Hall recently. Youths are disrupting the practice sessions by running in shouting and swearing at those participating in the band practice.

"Last night [Tuesday September 14] at 18.15 youths have been seen to cause damage to a fence and have smashed two large windows located at the rear of the premises.

"If anyone has seen anything or has any further information please contact Dorset Police on 101 or via dorset.police.uk/do-it-online quoting crime number 55210148988."

The policing team says it will continue its patrols in the area.
