And this event, A Celebration of Her Salisbury Story, on October 16, from 2pm until 5pm, aims to bring heritage alive by highlighting just some of the hidden history and tales.
The ‘Her Salisbury Footprint’ heritage trail map and the self-guided walking tour map will also be launched.
The winners of a writing competition for local female authors will be announced virtually by best-selling author Cornelia Funke, via livestream from Tuscany.
Mary Ann Sieghart, author and journalist, pictured above, will be present to speak about her best-selling book The Authority Gap.
The event is free but booking is essential for Covid-19 reasons.
