There is a mixed picture in and around Salisbury, with many forecourts affected by shortages or completely out of fuel today.

On Monday, executive director of the Petrol Retailers Association, Gordon Balmer, said that it could take “a week to 10 days” to get all sites running with normal levels.

He told Sky News that the capital and the South East have been worst affected by the fuel crisis because of their denser populations.
