Despite Halloween and October half-term just around the corner attention has already turned to Christmas with one supermarket already running out of festive delivery slots.

If you’re trying to get ahead with your Christmas planning to make up for last year’s lockdown, it’s worth knowing what UK supermarkets are saying about delivery slots for your festive food orders.

Due to high demand, many supermarkets have already started offering out delivery times with some even offering extra slots.

Here is what UK supermarkets have said about Christmas delivery slots for 2021.

Tesco Christmas delivery slots 2021

Britain’s biggest grocer will be opening Christmas delivery slots in November. From November 16, Delivery Saver customers will be able to order their festive food while delivery booking will open for non-Deliver Saver customers from November 23.

Delivery Saver costs £7.99 per month and gives shoppers free deliveries on orders worth more than £40.

Other deliveries are charged a flat fee of £4.50, with an extra charge of £4 if your order is less than £40.

Christmas orders will be delivered up to and including December 24.

The supermarket chain also has open booking for click and collect which will work to the same dates as deliver.

Iceland Christmas delivery slots 2021

Iceland has already started taking Christmas delivery slot booking, you can book up to six days in advance up to and including Christmas Eve.

Co-op has already started taking Christmas delivery slot bookings, you can book up to five days in advance up to and including Christmas Eve.

Waitrose Christmas delivery slots 2021

Waitrose has already opened booking for Christmas delivery slots and will be delivering order between December 20 and December 24.

The supermarket is also offering click and collect bookings for the Entertaining Range and Food Made to Order. Customers will be able to collect between December 20 and December 24.

Sainsbury’s Christmas delivery slots 2021

Sainsbury's is yet to confirm when Christmas delivery slots will open but has said delivery will be between December 22 and Christmas Eve.

The supermarket has already opened booking for Christmas click and collect with collection dates between December 22 and December 24.

Asda Christmas delivery slots 2021

Like Sainsbury’s, Asda is yet to confirm any details for Christmas deliveries in 2021.

If last year is anything to go by, we can expect to hear more about Asda’s Christmas delivery plans in November.

M&S Food Christmas delivery slots 2021

M&S’ click and collect booking system is open now. Customers will be able to collect their order on December 22 or December 23.

Ocado Christmas delivery 

Ocado was one of the first supermarkets to open its Christmas delivery service and at time of writing has already sold out of delivery slots. However, the supermarkets will let members know if more slots become available ahead of the festive season.

Morrisons, Aldi and Lidl Christmas delivery

Morrisons and Aldi are yet to confirm any Christmas delivery plans for 2021 while Lidl does not offer a home delivery service.
