INDEPENDENTS, salons, charity shops and supermarkets - Salisbury has it all, and readers have been busy nominating their favourites for our latest competition.

Last month we asked you to tell us why shops in the city deserved a special shout out as part of our 'Retailer of the Year' competition.

After receiving hundreds of nominations, we have compiled a shortlist of 27 businesses that are now waiting to find out which will be crowned the winner.

Whether it's the customer service, the shopping experience or the stock, now is the time to vote for your favourite, and they could be in with a chance of being gifted the special 2021 accolade.

To vote for your favourite venue among our finalists, simply pick up a copy of the paper this week (from today, October 14) and fill out the form.

You can then post your completed coupon to: Salisbury Journal Retailer of the Year, Fleet House, Hampshire Road, Weymouth, Dorset, DT4 9XD.

Voting coupons must be received by October 31.
