These are the latest figures on deaths and hospitalisations in Wiltshire.

Wiltshire had 11 recorded deaths in September, where Covid was listed as a cause of death on the death certificate.

This is according to the Government's coronavirus dashboard, which shares the number of deaths where Covid was determined to be a cause.

The data is published weekly by the ONS, NRS and NISRA, and there is a lag in reporting of at least 11 days due to death registrations.

This brings the total number of deaths registered as caused by Covid-19 in Wiltshire to 878.

A woman in her 80s was the latest to die in Salisbury Hospital, after testing positive, on September 27.

The patient had underlying health conditions and was being cared for in the hospital.

Between October 4 and October 10, 12 people went into an Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust hospital with coronavirus.

There were eight Covid patients in hospital with the virus on October 12, one of whom was on a ventilator.
