COATS please - is the plea from a Cockermouth dentist keen to support homeless and vulnerable people this winter.
Goodwin Dental Practice on Kirkgate has teamed up with Wrap Up UK and is collecting coats that people no longer need.
"All sizes are needed, including babies and children. The collection point will be outside our main entrance so there is no need to enter the practice," said dental nurse Lynn Bulman.
The collection closes on November 2.
"We have had a great response over the weekend and have filled two large sacks. We're hoping lots more people will sort out their wardrobes and cupboards and donate," said Lynn.
The practice has supported lots of charities over the years.
"We like to do things to help the community and this seemed like something everyone can get involved with," said Lynn.
"Wrap Up Uk is a charity that practice owner Deborah Goodwin supports.
"They need coats for all ages as they help the homeless, vulnerable, refugees and victims of domestic violence."
