EMERGENCY services were called to a two vehicle crash on London Road, Salisbury.

It involved a car and van and was reported at 10.05am this morning (Thursday October 28).

A fire crew from Salisbury fire station attended the scene along with police and the ambulance service.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said no-one was trapped and firefighters made the scene safe.

A spokesperson said: "A crew from Salisbury attended a two vehicle road traffic collision involving one car and one van. No persons were trapped.

"Two casualties handed over to south west ambulance service. Crew made the scene safe and carried out traffic management. Vehicles were moved to a safe place and carriageway was re-opened."

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said: "We were called at just after 10am this morning to London Road and attended along with the fire and ambulance services."

It is believed the vehicles involved were a black Dacia Duster and a white Vauxhall Vivaro.
